Q&A….but I bet I’ve forgotten something!!!
-
What happens during the free 15-minute consultation?
This is a relaxed, no-pressure chat where you can ask questions, learn more about how coaching works, and see if we’re a good fit.
You don’t need to prepare anything; we’ll simply talk about what’s on your mind and what you’re hoping to achieve.
-
What will you actually do for me?
I’ll support you in identifying your goals, understanding your financial situation, and building a plan to move forward.
We’ll use a mix of coaching techniques and practical tools, tailored to your needs.
You stay in control because empowerment and ownership are key to lasting change.
-
What if I’m not sure what my goals are yet?
That’s completely fine.
Many people start coaching with a sense that something needs to change, but they’re not sure what or how. Part of our work together is helping you gain clarity on what matters most to you and how to move toward it.
-
How is the coaching delivered?
All sessions are held remotely via video call—usually on Microsoft Teams. If you prefer another platform, I’m happy to accommodate where I can.
The first session lasts 90 minutes, with 60-minute sessions thereafter. -
How long will the coaching take?
It depends on your goals, the complexity of your situation, and how many areas you’d like to explore.
Most clients benefit from at least three sessions, but I’ll never extend our work beyond what’s genuinely useful to you.
-
Do I need to bring anything to the sessions?
Nope…..and yep! See I’m already making things clearer for you!
I don’t want to see lots of bank statements, credit card arrangements, 10 year cashflows etc. As we progress through the sessions, if you have documents or numbers you’d like to share, that’s great.
That said, ahead of our first session I’ll have you complete a couple of small exercises to get you thinking about your situation and how it is making you feel.
-
Is everything we discuss confidential?
Absolutely.
Everything you share with me stays between us.
I create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can speak openly and honestly.
-
Will you give me investment advice?
No - I don’t provide regulated financial advice. For that, you’ll need a financial adviser.
However, I can help you understand how different financial products work like savings accounts, pensions and types of debt so you can make informed decisions. -
How much will this cost?
- Introductory session (90 mins): £125
- Follow-up sessions (60 mins): £100 each
- 3-session package (1 intro + 2 follow-ups): £300
- 6-session package: £570
I’m happy to discuss other package lengths.
To help you manage your cashflow, payment is made via bank transfer in advance of each session - so if you signed up for a 6 session package you’d pay £95 each time. See how I did the one with the trickiest calculation for you?
-
There are cheaper options - why choose you?
That’s true. But with me, you’re getting a coach with extensive training, real-life experience, and a proven ability to help people make meaningful progress.
The emotional and financial value of coaching can be significant—often far outweighing the cost.
